Macau Tower

If you have a chance to visit Macau, do not forget to go to Macau Tower, an important landmark of the city. It was designed by Gordon Moller, a famous architect of New Zealand. The construction was finished in December, 2001, at the 2nd year anniversary of Macau's return. It was the eighth highest tower in Asia and the tenth in the world by the year of its completion. Besides, it is a member of the World Federation of Great Towers. Macau Tower is such a charming place attracting more than 1 million people to visit in a year in different ways.

Macau Tower Sightseeing Observation

Macau Tower is 338 meters (about 1,108 feet) above the ground. The highest observation level is the Outdoor Observation Deck on Level 61, with a height of 223 meters (about 732 feet). Walking around the Observation Deck, you can have a panoramic view of the Peal River Delta, Macau Peninsula and Taipa, Coloane islands. The Observation Lounge is on Level 58. Macau Tower is a fascinating place to see the sunrise in the morning or see the spectacular night-view of Macau. Looking down, you can see the East and west Mangyang Hill, Casino Lisboa and even the outlying island of Hong Kong in sunny days.

Macau Tower Bungee Jump

Macau Tower Mast Climb

Lua Azul: Serving Huaiyang, Cantonese and Chaozhou (Chiu Chow) cuisines. You can have a look about how your dishes are prepared. Private dining rooms are available. Lua Azul is in the third floor of Macau Tower. Business hours: 10:00 – 23:00.

What ferry terminal of Macau should I use if I want to go to HK (Kowloon Area)?
Should I be going to Macau Ferry Terminal or Taipa Ferry terminal?

Both are available but there are more ferries in Macau Ferry Terminal.

How to get to Macau Tower from the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal?
I will be staying in Hongkong and plans to visit in one day. After arriving via Turbojet, my first stop will be the Tower. I'd like to know how to get there straight from the terminal. Thanks for your help!

Well, you can take bus 32 straight to the tower and it takes about 15 minutes, 3.2MOP.

From your hotel, walk east around 0.6 mile to get to The City of Dreams first. There are many direct free shuttle buses that can take you to Macao Tower. The schedules are from 09:00 to 21:00 at intervals of 30 mins.

From your hotel, you can take public bus no.32 from Avenida da Amizade to the Tower directly. The ticket fare is about MOP.2 per person.

I only want to go around the observation deck of Macau Tower.
But not doing the adventures like bungee jumping and skywalk etc.
So do i still need to book the ticket in advance, or can I buy it at the Macao Tower on the day itself?

Yes, you still need to pay the ticket to go up to the tower. But it's not necessary for you to book it advance. Just purchase the ticket when you arriving there. Have fun!
