Jin Mao Tower and the Bund are all buildings rather than natural scenery, so you shall not concern whether it's winter or summer.

Thank you, Mr. Chen! How about flea markets? Looking for good cheap buys. :)
Oct. 15,2009 04:22
Mr.James(Ukraine) replied:
The only place to fit the description of flea market is the Bao Shan Lu area. It is easy to find as its a metro station on Line 3 and 4. It is mostly electrical/computer related junk for sale.
The only other place I know is the Modern Electrical Market Fuxing Lu close to South Shan Xi Lu Metro station. It has 3 or for stores that sell second hand items and it worth a look.

I'll be in Shanghai on 12/3 - 12/5. Any recommendations for reasonable rate hotel (clean with Internet access) close to Airport and attractions to see for 2 nights, 2 days? Does the hotel provide transporation from and to the Shanhai-Pu Dong Airport? What is the current exchange rate for U.S. dollar and can I get the Chinese currency at the Airport? Do the shops accept American Express or Master Card? Thank you.
Oct. 10,2009 02:27
Ms.Sara replied:
You can check this website for hotel selecting and booking:
http://www.travelchinaguide.com/hotel/shanghai-hotels.htm
You can check related website to get to know the exchange rate for U.S. dollar.
Currency exchange service is available at both Hongqiao and Pudong Airport, but a bit higher. I suggest you exchange your currency before leaving for China. Also Union Pay is used univerally in China. Master Card is acceptable but it won't be economical.
