Brief Introduction
Aeroflot-Russian International Airlines has witnessed the development
of Russian airlines all the way from the early 1930s to the 21st
century. As early as 1923 the Russian government began civil aviation
operations with re-equipped warplanes. Decades later Aeroflot
has developed into one of the 25 leading airlines in the world
and the largest airline in Russia. In 2000 it was officially renamed
Aeroflot-Russian International Airlines to better accord with
the status of the national air carrier of the Russian Federation.
It has a fleet of 83 aircraft. In 2006 Aeroflot's flights reached
302 per day and its annual passenger load reached 7.29 million.
To perform better Aeroflot puts flight safety and quality of service
