Brief Introduction

Acquired as a leading airline in the world, Finnair has a long history that can be traced back to the year 1923. It was originally named Scandinavian Air Express until 1968, when it took Finnair as its official name. Headquartered in Helsinki, the capital of Finland and an important traffic hub, Finnair owns a fleet of over 60 high quality passenger airplanes. Operating fifty international flight routes and twenty-two domestic routes, Finnair, to date, has the capacity to transport over 8 million passengers every year. Finnair has been unceasingly creating pleasurable and comfortable journeys for passengers. Its qualified services and rich experience have been widely recognized by passengers.

The Beijing Office of Finnair was set up in 1987, and in its second year the Helsinki-Beijing route was in operation. It was the first non-stop flight between Beijing and Europe. Destinations in China now include Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong.
