Air France

    Brief Introduction

One of the leading airways in the world today, and a member of the Sky Team Alliance - one of the three largest international airline alliances, Air France was set up in 1933 after Societe Centrale pour l'Exploitation de Lignes Acriennes purchased assets of Compagnie Generale Acropostale. During World War II, it was owned by the state to serve the country. Until now, flights of Air France cover 315 destinations all over the world, 124 in France and other European cities. In the Asia-Pacific region, Air France maintains 15 routes, including eleven direct flights. Destinations in Asia include Bangkok, Deli, Bombay, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Manila, Seoul, Singapore and Tokyo.

Each week, there are 47 flights from China Mainland and Hong Kong to destinations in France - 14 from Beijing; 17 from Shanghai; 6 from Guangzhou; and 10 from Hong Kong, all featuring Air France's high-quality service. Boeing 777s are the exclusive aircrafts used between the two countries. For increased customer service and satisfaction, all in-flight messages, announcements and broadcasts are delivered in English, Chinese, Cantonese and French.

Airbus S.A.S. announced on Oct.30, 2009 that the first aircraft A380 will be delivered to Air France on the same day. And the aircraft will be used on the flight from Paris to New York as of this Nov.20, which suggests that Air France will be the first European airline using the aircraft A380.

A French flight with 6 people on board lost near the sea of Corsica on Oct.12, 2009. And now the local government and the military has began looking into the accident. According to corresponding people, due to an engine failure of the flight, the crew contacted them and asked an emergency landing on the water of Porto Bay. But after that they lost contact.

I have just come back from Paris to Hong Kong by Air France. High quality service???!! That is a JOKE. The flight attendent who was supposed to serve us(my wife and me) was so rude and impolite that I was speechless. When we complained to him about this attitude he simply ignored us for the 12 hours of the flight. He never offered us any drink, any food. I will never ever fly Air France again. AIR FRANCE SUCKS!

Really bad experience! It seems that the man's service is not satisfying at all. Hope it is just the individual phenomenon of the Air France. Anyway, Air france should pay more attention to its customers' satisfaction!

The missing Air France took 228 lives. It's so sad for the relatives to get to know the news. Is Air France safe in the future? Very bad. I will not take it later. Hope Air France can do their best for its passengers.

It's not only the Air France's fault, maybe the Airbus plane, or terrorism, who knows.
