Set up in 1994, Shandong Airlines is a corporation consisting of 12 shareholders which engaged in aviation transport and concerned businesses. International courses now include Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Korea, etc. Its logo is made up of three 's' which respectively symbolizes Shandong Province, safety and success. The whole of the three inseparable 's' means solidification of the staff.

Hub: It is headquartered in Jinan, capital of Shandong Province. The central hub of operation is in Jinan Yaoqiang Airport. The second hubs of operation are in Yantai Laishan International Airport and Qingdao Liuting International Airport. Its flight-test bases are located in Shenzhen and Chengdu.
