i am going to travel in Guangzhou at the end of October and i am excited about it. So i would like to ask what is the minimum package allowance i can have including the baggage i am gonna carry on the aeroplane. I heard there is 30kg minimum for economic classic travelling from Amsterdam? is this true?? also what is the extra fees for excess luggage?? i would be really sincered if you could respond the soonest.. thank you very much.
Oct. 12,2009 20:22 Ms.Breezing(USA) replied:
Generally, the minimum baggage allowance for international flights is 20 kg for economic class fare ticket holders. As for the baggage you can carry on the plane, usually the total weight should not exceed 5 Kilograms, and the volume should not exceed 20X40X55 cms.
Normally, the excess luggage will be charged 1.5% of the full fare of economy class direct single-trip ticket per kilogram. For China Southern Airlines, the charges for the extra luggage is CNY630($93)/kg on the route from Amsterdam to Guangzhou. Rather expensive! So you would better trim down your luggage to avoid unwanted cost.

With the 60th anniversary of the foundation of the People's Republic of China, to meet prople's travel demands during the holiday, the branch office of China Southern Airlines in Henan will increase a total of 162 flights respectively from Zhengzhou to Chengdu, Kunming, Chongqing, Guiyang, Qingdao, Wenzhou, Xiamen, Nanjing, Haikou and Guangzhou. Accordingly, there will be more discounted tickets available during the coming holiday. For example, 40%-60% off tickets are available from Zhengzhou to Guangzhou; Zhengzhou to Beijing, 40% off tickets are for sale.
Anyway, it is wise to travel in the middle of the holiday to avoid the peak at the beginning.

Oh, that is incredible. I saw on the internet that the full price is CNY1,350 and there are some special discounted tickets at CNY540 for tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. Probably the USD$410 (about CNY2,788) they quoted is for round-trip airfare. However, you may provide your scheduled travel date in order to help find the lowest airfare. Pakistan International Airlines provides direct round-trip flights between Islamabad and Beijing. The flight from Islamabad to Beijing is available on every Thursday and Sunday and the return flights are available on every Monday and Friday.
China Southern Airlines has direct flight from Islamabad and Beijing and connecting flights from Beijing to Islamabad (transferring at Urumqi). The lowest airfare from Islamabad to Beijing on September 20 is CNY3,230 (excluding tax and fuel surcharge), and it is just for your reference!
For the lowest airfare, you would better consult some booking agencies because the international airfare always changes. Besides, you need to provide your exact travel dates.

Hi, I will like to travel by China Southern Airlines from Guangzhou to Zhengzhou. Could somebody please advice where I can book the cheapest ticket? China Southern Airlines' own website is quoted USD$410 which seems too expensive for domestic flights. Thank you!
Sep. 10,2009 01:31
Mr.Dean(Belgium) replied:
Oh, that is incredible. I saw on the internet that the full price is CNY1,350 and there are some special discounted tickets at CNY540 for tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. Probably the USD$410 (about CNY2,788) they quoted is for round-trip airfare. However, you may provide your scheduled travel date in order to help find the lowest airfare. Besides, you can also search the flights and submit your booking on this website: http://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-flights/

I want to travel from islamabad, to bejing china, what are the cheapest return ticket rates.
Sep. 9,2009 03:45
Mr.Soon(France) replied:

Hi! I want to travel on 23rd September, 2009 from Macau to Nanning, what is the cheapest air ticket? travel from Guangzhou or Zhuhai?
Sep. 9,2009 01:13
Mr.Jean(Canada) replied:
The cost is almost the same. Taking flight at Zhuhai will be more convenient and time-saving. Traveling by bus from Macau to Zhuhai is very convenient and then you can transfer a flight from Zhuhai to Nanning. There is a daily flight between the two cities. Flight info: 16:50/17:55, SC4913, Shandong Airlines

A little confused…… but I find on the internet that both direct flights and conjoint flights are available from Islamabad to Beijing. And direct flights are available only on Thursdays and Sundays. Islamabad – Beijing PK852 2330/0705
From Beijing to Xian, there are many flights available daily. Anyway, I suggest you contact some booking agency directly and generally they can offer you more details including the airfare details provided you have the exact travel date.

Hi, my friends have booked our flight from Bangkok to Guangzhou on the 9th of September. that would be our returning ticket. Is it possible for us to postpone our date to the 20th of September as my friend is going through an operation.

You would better consult your booking agency or the airlines directly, because different airlines have various restrictions on the change of flight. Generally, it is possible for you to change your flight date if the tickets on September 20 are not in great demand.

Hi, since it is Sep. 1st already and the flight information for Aug.30th on the internet has been deleted. But you can refer to the flight information on Sundays since Aug.30 is Sunday too:
Islamabad - Urumqi CZ008 1130/1600
Urumqi - Shanghai FM920 2010/0030
Besides, this is not the official website for China Southern Airlines but for a booking agency. Thus, you can consult the airlines directly. May there is no problem.
