To further expand business in Taiwan, Xiamen Airlines will set up branch offices there.
They have sent the application for the establishment of the branch offices. A few days ago, Xiamen Airlines also indicated that the branch office in Taiwan would have autonomy in operation after its establishment.

I will be travelling to Xiamen and take a connecting flight to Mt Wuyi in August 2009. from the online booking, Xiamen Airlines still fly to Mt. Wuyi in August, but the local travelling Agencies informed us that the flight were cancelled by the airlines.
Is it true and what are the alternative flights available?
Tks.

Mr.Adams(America) replied:

I find many flights from Xiamen to Mt Wuyi available during this August. Maybe you should consult flight agencies in Mainland China for they have more access to these flights. Besides, this website is operated by Chinese, you can submit your booking here and they can book the flight for you.

Or, Can anyone recommend me a travel agent in Taipei which provide tour package from Taiwan to China Wu Yi San for the period specified above? Thank you.

It is easy to book the air tickets online; Xiamen Airlines and Dragonair provide such flights. Or, you can write to ticket agencies to get a better price. As for the travel agent in Taipei, maybe you can search in the internet.

Mr.Jeff(USA) said:

Hi Ms Helen,

We are looking for 4 tickets (husband, wife, daughter is 13, son is 11) for our extended stay 3 months in Xiamen.

Our situation is we are flying in from USA. We currently have confirmed seats from USA to MNL to USA (May 11 - Sept 5, 2009).

Option 1:
1. SIN to XMN to SIN.

Option 2:
1. MNL to XMN to MNL.

We desire to Option 1 since I grew up in Singapore. If that is the case, we would also need MNL to SIN to MNL tickets to faciliate the MNL to USA.

So can you both options please?

Mar. 3,2009 00:10
Ms.Helen replied:

Hi, Mr. Jeff, now I know you need the MNL to SIN to MNL tickets for your family, right? I advice you to book the tickets in MNL. You will get a good price if you book the tickets right in the city where you will arrive in.
