Our family would like to take a tour to Changdao near Yantai and Penglai, I searched online that the buses are available between Wingdao and Penglai. Could you please offer me some schedules and where to take it. Thanks.

The buses are available at Qingdao long-distance bus station, it takes about 4 hours from Qingdao to Penglai, and you can take a ferry boat to Changdao Island.
But now there is one high speed train from Qingdao to Penglai city, D6044 07:46/ 11:01, it takes 3hours 15 minutes and I think train is safer. This train has a stop at Qingdao North station, you can choose a departure station nearby.

I heard that there will be a railway station in airport too, is this true?
Is there anyone know about the operation time? Will I be able to go from airport to Qingdao Station by train directly? Or maybe direct train will be available from Beijing?

I also read about this new, but the airport station is not for the current Liuting Airport, but a new airport called Jiaozhou Airport. They are under construction now and the new station and airport should be put into service together, in late 2019, no detailed date now. See from the news, direct rides from Beijing maybe possible.

what is the best way via train or air from Xiamen to Qingtao in September, 2018?
I am planning to travel from xiamen to Qingtao from the 17th of Sept and return the 20th of sept. is there a train route and how much would this be? Would air be more cost effective? verses a train?

There is only one pair of rail service between Xiamen and Qingdao. Although it is a high speed rail service, it still takes around 12.5 to 13 hours on the way. The ticket price would be RMB791 for a second class seat. Flight did save a lot of time and would not cost too much as well. The only problem for flight would be the possibility of typhoon in Xiamen, but it is a chance problem and cannot be predict

Dandong to Qingdao
I am planning to go to Qingdao on the 19th or 20th of February from Dandong, (depending on availability of tickets), and returning on the 25th.
What is the cheapest way to travel between?
Plane or train? And what will it cost for a return ticket.

Many thanks for your assistance

I think there is no direct rail connection between. BY rail, you may choose a transfer via Beijing. The cost would be around CNY700 by second class one way. The price doubled for round trip.

For flight, it seems there is no direct flight to Qingdao on 19th or 20th. A transfer in beijing would cost more than CNY1,000. If you go to dalian by rail first and then a flight to the final destination, it can be a cheaper, for example around CNY600. For return to Dandong, there is direct flight available. The price is good as well, around CNY500. But it may change from time to time.

No, you need to take a transfer at Guangzhou or Beijing. Beijing will be better for you. You could take high speed ride from Beijing south to there.
