Hello again,

Thanks to Ms. Lan(Cuba)'s relpy.

I will arrive at Shanghai. Instead of flying to Wuhan then to Qichun, can someone please advise the best way to travel to Qichun in Hubei. Also where can we stay in Qichu or a town close by?

Sep. 21,2009 04:56
Mr.kate(cn) replied:

You should first go to Wuhan, then to Qichun. It's about 150km from Wuhan to Qichun county by highway, and there are many buses from the bus terminal in Wuhan.

I didn't find Wuhan in the list. Does anybody know how to get there from HongKong?
Thank you

Sep. 4,2009 20:30
Ms.Sophia(China) replied:

Dear Alex,
I also notice this questions before. Wuhan is not a name for train station. You may try to serch Hankou which is a city in Wuhan. I'm afraid there is no direct train between Wuhan and Hk.

Sep. 9,2009 20:14
Mr.kate(cn) replied:

Note that Wuhan is a city name, while there are altogether three railway stations in city proper of Wuhan, namely Wuchang, Hankou and Hanyang station. Not all trains that pass by Wuhan stops in all these three stations, so check before you buy a ticket.

Sep. 10,2009 04:11
Mr.Alexandre(France) replied:

Where should I change from HK to Wuhan. Do I really need to pass by Shanghai?
Thank you

Sep. 15,2009 02:31
Mr.Wong(cn) replied:

no. you can also connect in Shenzhen or Guangzhou.

Sep. 16,2009 08:51
Mr.Alexandre replied:

I made it, I just had to change in Changsha to arrive at Wuchang (Wuhan)

Sep. 20,2009 20:13
Mr.Jon(Colombia- on China) replied:

From Hong Kong to any part of MainLand China. It is better go by Subway to Lohou Subway station. which is the last Subway station on Hong kong. there you cross the border to MainLand. and you are on China. on the main train station on Shenzhe.. From there you can go anywhere on Mainland. There is train from Hong Kong to Beijing. but i dont know where to get it.

Sep. 21,2009 02:46
Mr.Alexandre(France) replied:

This is definitly the best way. From Shenzhen,
you get train to everywhere and cheaper. For instance, Shenzhen-Guangzhong 75 Yuan (Hong-Kong-Guangzhong 200 Yuan) and the train is modern and confortable!!
Shenzhen-Changsha and Shenzhen-Shanghai are available by night train.

Hello,
My flight will land at HGH airport at 1310 and I am going to attend a seminar in shanghai at 1830
Pullman Shanghai Skyway: 上海斯格威铂尔曼大酒店
No. 15, Dapu Road, Luwan District, 200030 Shanghai

How can I make it on-time?

Sep. 15,2009 03:43
Ms.Rebecca(CN) replied:

Mr. Finn. As there is no direct shuttle bus between Hangzhou airport and Shanghai, I think the fastest way is to take the D train. After you walk out the Hangzhou airport, take a taxi or shuttle bus to the railway station directly. Buy the tickets of D5670 14:55/ 16:18. If you cannot catch this train, try the next one D5676 15:55/17:27. If you take the latter one, you only have one hour left when your train stops at the Shanghai South Railway Station. Then get a taxi directly. Time is just enough. Good luck to you!
