 Xiamen Train Station consists of the station building, South Square and North Square. Currently, the North Square is still under construction; if arriving here, passengers can reach the South Square station entrance via a 0.06-mile (100-meter) passage.
 2F: Waiting Hall, check points, hot water, washrooms

  Arrival by Bus:
At the South Square: 1, 28, 50, 128, 130, Sightseeing Line 2
Passengers arriving by bus will be dropped off to the southeast of the south square. For those having a ticket in hand, please enter the station directly. Afterwards, take escalators to the waiting hall on 2F. For those without a ticket, go to the ticket office at the east side of 1F to obtain one first, and then go up to the waiting hall.

At the North Square: BRT (1, 2, 3); 1, 3, 5, 17, 19a, 19b, 21, 26, 38, 42, 57, 93, 96, 103, 113, 116, 122, 127, 128, 659, 840, 842, 857, 858, 859, 940, 950, 952, 994; Sightseeing Line 2
Passengers arriving at the North Square will be dropped off to the southeast of the square. As the North Square has not yet been put into use, passengers arriving here will need to go through the connecting passage to the south square. Then enter the terminal building from the south entrance there.

Tip:
If you take regular city buses to the station, be mindful of your location. Different buses may stop at different squares. If you are in the south square, just pass a footbridge to the station building. If in the north square, you can pass through a 0.06-mile (100-meter) passage to enter the building.

 Arrival by taxi:
1. It takes about 30 minutes and costs around CNY65 from North Railway Station.
2. It takes about 15 minutes and costs at least CNY40 from Gaoqi International Airport.
Passengers arriving by taxi will be dropped off at the east side of the south square.
 There are 8 automatic ticket check points on both sides of the waiting halls. Check your ticket to find the correct check point. Please note that the check points are usually opened 30 minutes before departure and closed 5 minutes before. After, find the way down to the platforms through the entry passageway.
 Upon arrival, passengers need to pass through an underground passage or take escalators to the exit passage and get out from the south exit.

 Leave by bus:
Passengers can take escalators to the ground floor and then walk to the bus station and parking lot to take buses. As different buses depart from different squares, one needs to read the bus signs carefully to find out which bus you need and then go to the specific pick-up site for boarding.

 Leave by taxi:
Passengers can walk forward directly along the exit to the taxi stand to take taxis and leave the station.

 Transportation to other places from the station
 South Putuo Temple: Buses 1, 21, 48, 57, 96, 943, and 950

 Gaoqi International Airport: Buses 27, 37, 650, and Airport Shuttle Bus

 North Railway Station: Buses BRT 1, 950, and 953
  Ticket Office: It can be found on the east side of the first floor. More than ten ticket windows are available there.

 Left Luggage: It is available on the west side of the first floor. The price depends on the size of the luggage, but it wouldn’t exceed CNY10 for each piece per day.

 Information Desk: It is available on the second floor to provide real-time train schedules, point out the different functional areas of the station and help the elderly, weak, sick, disabled and pregnant to get onboard or leave the station, as well as informational broadcasts.

 LED Screens: There are many LED screens showing departure times, check points, waiting rooms and boarding platforms on 2F; arrival times, platforms and exits on -1F.

 Nursing Room: Near the No.2 Check Point is a room for mothers with babies.

 Washrooms: They are spread out on southwest and northeast corners on 2F.

 Hot Drinking Water: It is set up on the northwest corner on 2F. The water is boiling hot, so take care.
