There are public bus stations and taxi stops in the south and north squares in front of the railway station.

I am travelling from Beijing south train station to the Emperor hotel, which is right next to the forbidden city. http://www.theemperorbeijing.cn/map.html

What is the easiest way? We will have luggage with us

Mr.Josh replied:

There is no subway station near to this hotel, so it is not convenient to take subway. Besides, buses are a little crowded. Considering this, the easiest way is to take taxi; the taxi fee is around CNY40.00 from Beijing South Railway Station to the hotel one way. Hope it helps.

I am wondering to know who can tell me which bus from Beijing Airport Terminal 3 to South Railway station of Beijing and then to Tianjin?

thanks

Mr.Qi replied:

There is no direct bus from Beijing Airport to the SOuth Railway Station. If you prefer to use airport bus, you can get to Xuanwumen first and then change to BUs 102 to Beijing South Railway Station. Or get to Fangzhuang and then shift to another city bus or taxi to the railway Station.
Subway in Beijing is a good choice. For the newly open Line 4 bring great convevience to passenger. You can use Airport express to Dongzhimen, change to Subway Line 2 and get off at Xuanwumen, then change to Line 4 to Beijing South Railway Station. Beijing Subway is cheap, only 2yuan without limitation on transfer times.

Oct. 19,2009 01:32
Mr.Josh replied:

Hi,Mr.Frank, you could take airport shuttle bus No. 2 to reach Xidan firstly, then take subway line 4 from Xidan Station to Beijing South Railway Station.
Otherwise, you may take the airport express directly to reach Dongzhimen Station, transfer to subway line 2, and then change to subway line 4 at Xuanwumen Station, get off at Beijing South railway station(Beijing Nan Zhan).
