Chongqing, as China's fourth municipality after Beijing, Shanghai, and Tianjin, has developed rapidly in recent years, becoming one of the most important port cities in China. This hotel is said to be the best one from which to overlook the splendid Yangtze River and the night views. It opened in 1989 and was re-decorated in 2003. There are 320 rooms/suites in the hotel.

The Huangjia Hotel, Chongqing, built with an investment of 300 million RMB by the Jialing Industry Group, is located in the commercial center of the city - Qixinggang. It opened in 2000 and was re-decorated in 2003. There are 268 rooms in the hotel.
