By Train

It is convenient to get to Foshan by train. The city is connected with the national railway network via the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang Railway. Several trains stop at Foshan Railway Station on their way to many large and medium cities such as Guangzhou, Kowloon, Beijing, Shanghai, Kunming, Chongqing, and Nanning. Each day, dozens of trains complete the trip from Guangzhou to Foshan in less than one hour. The ticket price is about CNY 10. One train departs Kowloon at 12:30 for Foshan. The trip takes about three hours, and tickets cost CNY 33 (hard seat) or CNY 50 (soft seat).
