You have to take a train from Hung Hom, Hong Kong to arrive at Changping, Dongguan firstly. At Changping railway station, you could take the bus 92 to arrive in Houjie.

I'm afraid that there is no bus for you to go to Zhuhai either from Guangzhou Airport or from downtown after 23:00. So, you may consider staying one night in downtown Guangzhou or hailing a taxi (expensive).

Yes, you could hire a cab at late night. The fare should be no less than 100RMB. Actually, you could use the shuttle bus to get to downtown Guangzhou easily as well.

From Macau to Zhuhai, there is no need to take any bus. You just have to go through the Gongbei Port between Macau and Zhuhai. Please note that the port is open from 07:00 to 24:00 everyday.
The buses from Zhuhai Qiguang Bus Station and Zhuhai Gongbei Bus Station to Guangzhou is in operation from 06:00 to 22:00. Very frequently.

The last bus from Macau Airport to Guangzhou will leave at 18:45. So, if you would like travel to Guangzhou from Macau after that time, please go to Zhuhai firstly. At the bus station of Gongbei Port, you could catch the last bus leaving for Guangzhou at 22:00.
