Anshun is home to Anshun Huangguoshu Airport (AVA) located 6 kilometers (about 3.7 miles) away from Anshun City center which has scheduled flights to Shenyang, Kunming and Guangzhou. Since the opening of the airport, tourists can easily reach Anshun where there are tour operators offering trips to Huangguoshu Waterfall, Dragon Palace Scenic Spot, Jiulongshan National Forest Park, etc.

Anshun is the tourist center of Guizhou West Tour Line, and the airport not only improves the transport conditions in west part of Guizhou but also it is an important window to open Anshun to the public and increase tourism.
