I want to travell from shanghai to ZhengZhou city via bus or through bullet train ,which is cheaper and and comfortable

Nov. 13,2009 22:35
Mr.Brad(China ) replied:

Bus is cheaper. Bullet train is obviously much faster and more comfortable. The D Trains from Shanghai to Zhengzhou take approximately 7 hours and you get a free bottle of water (or at least last time I traveled on D train you did.) It is very convenient and worth the extra money!

What flight i can take from Macau to Zhengzhou?

Oct. 16,2009 20:19
Mr.Leo replied:

As I know, there is no direct flight from Macau to Zhengzhou currently. So, you may consider take a ferry from Macau to Hong Kong firstly and then fly to Zhengzhou by CZ3028 of the China Southern Airlines.
Alternatively, you could fly to Beijing from Macau firstly and then transfer to Zhengzhou by air.

The real-time flight info could be searched at http://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-flights/

would you recommend riding the train from shanghai to zhengzhou? I have heard some feedback that trains in china are not a pleasant experience. I am planning to take the train from zhengzhou to shanghai middle of oct 2009.
How much is the fare? and where can I get the tickets?

Sep. 13,2009 01:04
Mr.jim(cn) replied:

If you buy a seat ticket, i am sure that you will feel the train journey is suffering. However, a sleeper or a ticket of D-train can be a pleasant one.
I advidse you to take the bullet train (start with D), it is fast and the service is quite good. However, it is a little costly. The bullet train ticket is about 370 yuan for the first class and 300 yuan for the second class. The duration is about 7 hours. You can get the ticket at the station you departs.

Aug. 30,2009 22:43
Mr.Jamie replied:

Yes, there are two trains from Zhengzhou to Shenzhen, one running to Shenzhen Railway Station in Luohu and one to Shenzhen West Train Station. It is 1900km from Zhengzhou to Shenzhen, so, i guess it is not a good idea to travel by bus. The faster train takes about 24 hours, departing from Zhengzhou Railway Station at 21:02 and get to Shenzhen Railway Stationi 24 hours and 40 minutes later. The other one needs 31 hours and leaving at 1:03am, which is not recommended.
