Hong Kong - Shenzhen Ferry

Sky Pier

There are ferries between Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal in downtown Hong Kong and Skypier in Hong Kong airport and Shekou Port by Shekou subway station in southern Shenzhen and Fuyong Port in Shenzhen Airport. The whole voyage of Hong Kong ferry to Shenzhen takes about 30 minutes to one hour. And the Hong Kong to Shenzhen ferry price varies from CNY 90 to CNY 380 for ordinary cabin.

Ferries to/from Sky pier only serve passengers arriving at or leaving from Hong Kong Airport by flight. To take Sky Pier - Shenzhen Shekou ferry, the HKIA flight ticket on the same day, the valid ferry ticket, passport and visa are all needed.

Hong Kong to Shenzhen Ferry

Child: CNY 60 for ordinary cabin; CNY 75 for deluxe cabin

China Ferry Terminal

Shekou Port → SkyPier

Departure Time: 07:15, 08:45, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, 18:00, 19:00, 20:15
Duration: 50 minutes
Ticket Price:
Adult: CNY 380 for ordinary cabin; CNY 560 for deluxe cabin
Child: CNY280 for ordinary cabin; CNY 460 for deluxe cabin

Fuyong Port → Sky Pier

Departure Time: 09:00, 12:10, 15:00, 17:30
Duration: about 50 minutes
Ticket Price: CNY380 for adults, CNY280 for children

Tips:

1. Ferries to/from Sky pier only serve passengers arriving or leaving Hong Kong airport by flight. From Shenzhen to Sky Pier, only passengers of designated airlines (Sky Pier Participating Airlines) can buy the ferry tickets.

2. Each adult could bring with one child aged under one free of charge. Children between 1 and 5 (5 yrs old included) are supposed to buy children’s ticket, while children over 6 need to pay the full price.
3. Arriving at the ferry terminal one hour before the departure, and get to the boarding gate 15mins earlier to ensure that you can board the ship.

How does my airline checked in luggage get on the ferry

Hi
I arrive at Hong Kong airport on a British Airways (BA) flight at 1635h Saturday. I will go straight to the Ferry terminal desk where I presume I purchase my Ferry ticket to Shenzhen Shekou Port and show them my (BA) luggage receipt. Is the luggage from the flight is collected by ferry staff and put on the ferry. What time would you suggest to book the ferry?

Yes, your luggage will be put on the ferry as you enjoy luggage check through service. You can purchase the ferry ticket at Transfer Area E2 upon flight arrival.

It is possible for you to take a ferry from HK airport to Shekou in Shenzhen. However, remember do not pass the HK immigration or you cannot use the ferry service. You need to arrive at the Ferries to Mainland / Macao Ticketing Counter located at Transfer Area E2 at least 60 minutes before the scheduled ferry departure time for ticketing and transfer procedures.

How much is a ticket from bing Kong airport to shekou port in shenzhen or whatever?

And can I buy the ticket after I land or does it have to be before?

Generally, you can buy it at the ferry terminal and it takes about CNY140 for adult economy class.
