Wuhan Metro Line 2

Wuhan metro line 2 is the first urban rail transit line to cross the Yangtze River in the city. This metro line runs from Wuhan Tianhe International Airport (WUH) T3 and Optics Valley Square with 28 stations, connecting Jiefang Avenue, Zhongnan, Jiedaokou and Luxiang four shopping districts, and passes Hankou Railway Station, Wuhan General Coach Station, Wangjiadun Central Business District, Zhongshan Park and Donghu Sci-tech Park.

In addition, the section between Tianhe Airport and Changqingcheng Station, also known as the Airport Line, operates from 06:00 to 22:30 in weekdays and 06:30 to 22:30 in weekends. It covers around 12 miles (20 kilometers) and passes 7 stations. The trip between Jinyintan and the airport only takes 27 minutes.
