bus time table from baicheng to xianghai nature reserve?
Hi, I´ll arrive at BC train station in the early morning and would like to do a day tour to xianghai nature reserve, catching a late afternoon train from either BC or Kaitong to Hohhot.

What is the earliest bus to the reserve and the last bus back to BC or Kaitong? Is there a timetable to be found somewhere?

Thanks!

Upon arriving there, walk for several minutes to the nearby bus terminal to take a bus to Xianghai. But I rememer only one bus is available every day, leaving at 13:50. After that, u can transfer to another bus or a taxi to the natural reserve.

Baicheng VS Tongliao for day stopp over

Aaaaand...it´s me again, so maybe I should start with everything properly. I can´t decide what to do: I am travelling from Hailaer by train to Hohhot via the inner Mongolia route, since i don´t like beeing on a train almost 2 days, I wanted to take a break, somewhere in the middle. Now it´s the question, what location is more convenient for a day trip ( I will be catching an evening train) Baicheng and surrounding or Tongliao. I know Henry already answered one of my questions and the only bus leaving for the reserve is a little late. I mean, what is easier to get around for a single traveller...like buses to places etc. I already checked out the attractions in both areas. I found absolutely nothing while researching how to get to places by public transport. I´ll be thankful for any advice! cheers! :)

Best way to get from Baicheng to Nanchang!
We will be going to NanChang! What would our best options for travel would be? The train from Beijing to Baicheng was a little slow and long even though we had sleepers! I understand there may be an airport in Chang Chun or a speed train

There is no speed train or direct flight from Changchun to Nanchang. You can take train from Baicheng to Changchun, then fly from Changchun to Nanchang via Beijing.
