Shenyang Transportation

Shenyang Taoxian International Airport (SHE) is a large transportation hub in northeast China. Speedway connects downtown and the airport, which makes the transportation rather convenient. Airlines here can reach multi-domestic and international cities, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, Guangzhou, Shenzhen as well as Hong Kong, Macau, Taipei, Seoul, Osaka and Tokyo.

As one of the largest transition hubs, it has three railway stations altogether: Shenyang Railway Station, North Railway Station and South Railway Station.

Shenyang Railway Station is located on the division line of Heping District and Tiexi New District.

North Railway Station stands on the boundary line of Shenhe District and Huanggutun District. Generally speaking, trains that start from Shenyang Train Station reach cities within or near Liaoning Province; while trains that start from North Railway Station can arrive at most cities in China, like Beijing, Shanghai, Xi'an, and so on. City bus no. 114, 123, 328 and 399 can bridge the two stations for your convenience.

South Railway Station is located on No. 500 of Xinyunhe Road in Hunnan District and mainly operates high speed trains to/from Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Harbin, Dalian, Dandong, Qinhuangdao, and Shanhaiguan, etc. City bus no. 100, 139, and 333 can be found here.

 Major Rail Lines from Shenyang to:

 Shenyang is found in the center of Liaoning highway net. National roads 101, 102, 202 and 304 cross each other here in this city. In addition there are five speedways starting here to Beijing, Dalian, Harbin, Fushun and Benxi. The local speedways together with those passing ones make it possible that there are almost hundreds of regular buses delivered to other towns within Liaoning Province and cities in and out the province.

 Shenyang metro Line 1, Line 2 , Line 9 and Line 10 of this city have been put into use nowadays, by which passengers could travel around the city quickly and conveniently. Besides, the east extension of line 1 and line 4 are expected to operate in recent years.

There are more than 3,000 city buses running on over 140 lines. They can reach almost every place in Shenhe District, Huanggu District, Tiexi District, Heping District and Dadong District. The ticket fare is CNY1 for big city buses without conductors; the ticket fare for mini-buses with conductors depends on the number of stops you have to take.
 The city is favored with very good public transportation system. According to the statistics, over 100 taxi companies are operating more than 19,000 cars here. The brands of taxis mainly include Jetta, Santana, and Zhonghua. Both air-conditioned and non-air conditioned taxis are available.
