Hi, Can you advise the best mean to travel from Hangzhou airport to Wuxi. If we use the taxi what will be its charges like, expected to travel in Dec 9th, 2009.
Your reply is highly appreciated
Oct. 21,2009 03:06 Mr.Leo replied:
Currently, there is no direct bus from Hangzhou to Wuxi. So, when you arrive at the Airport, please take the airport shuttle bus to reach Hangzhou Railway Station firstly. Here, you could catch a bus or a train to Wuxi. Alternatively, you could catch a bus at Hangzhou North Bus Station to Wuxi, too. The journey is about 3 hours.
As for renting a cab, there is a car rental company for your consideration: http://www.hzttzc.com/english.htm

Sep. 16,2009 21:31 Mr.Hank replied:
Well, I think Xitang is more charming and quieter than Wuzhen which has been commercialized. Depend on your favor. From Hangzhou to Wuzhen: there are frequent buses departing from Hangzhou East Bus Station to Wuzhen directly. The fare is just 27RMB. From Hangzhou to Xitang: only four buses depart from Hangzhou East Bus Station to Xitang directly everyday, respectively at 06:50, 09:25, 11:20 and 13:50. The fare is 38RMB. But, the more popular way is that taking a bus from Hangzhou East Bus Station to Jiashan firstly and then transfer to Xitang quickly. The buses to Jiashan leave frequently from Hangzhou with a fare of 34RMB. When you arrive in Jiashan Bus Station, it is easy for you to catch a bus here to Xitang with a fare of 3RMB.
Hope this helps!
