Dear all,

May I know roughly when will Hangzhou snow? Because I've been waiting to see the snow scene here. I plan to travel to there on mid or late January 2010. Wondering any snow at that time? Thank you

Nov. 7,2009 20:21
Mr.Jamie replied:

It is too early to say when it will snow in Hangzhou in Jan. My suggestion is late Jan, anyway. It snowed with rain in mid-Jan, 2008. I think it is more possible to see heavy snow a few days later.

Hi ...
I will travelling to Hang zhou, Suzhou and Shanghai in mid of Nov, what is the climate during this period? Do you all have any suggestion for what kind of thing we should prepare ? place to travel?
It would be much appreciated that you all able to share some info to me..thanks in advance!!

Sep. 28,2009 01:12

Generally, the weather of these three cities is the same mostly. You will feel a little cold in mid Nov, but a thin sweater or a jacket is enough. There will be little rainfall so still be comfortable for traveling.

It is reported that most of the time is cloudy, may be a little rainfall at night. The city is in early autumn, so not bad for outside activities. You could get the real-time weather forecast at http://www.weather.com.cn/html/weather_en/101210101.shtml

hi, i'm going to hangzhou on 9/9-15/9. any nice place and cheap hotel to introduce? i would like to go qiandaohu, 1 day is it enough?

Aug. 4,2009 02:25
Mr.Andy replied:

Here are some hotels info. Hope it helps.
http://www.travelchinaguide.com/hotel/hangzhou-hotels.htm

One day is enough to go Qiandaohu. Hangzhou is only 1.5 hours from the lake. If coming back to Hangzhou the same day, you should shorten your time on several places. The last bus departs at 18:00.

Aug. 4,2009 08:40
Mr.Wong(Malaysia) replied:

thanks a lot. but do i need to book a tour first?? or i can book there when i reach hangzhou?? about how much to travel to qiandaohu?? any tour to recommend??

Aug. 6,2009 20:26
Mr.Shan replied:

If you would like to ease the travel, it is suggested that you participate in a one-day tour group to Qiandaohu when you arrive in Hangzhou. Lots of travel agencies supply the tour and you just have to book the tour one day in advance. Not very sure about the tour accurate price, but should be around 200RMB per person,
