Aug. 28,2009 22:11
Mr.Hank replied:

As I know there is bus leaving from Zhaoqing at 08:00 and arriving Guilin at 17:00. From Guilin to Anshun, it is suggested that you fly to Guiyang firstly and then transfer to Anshun by bus.

Zuhai? Is it the Zhuhai City of Guangdong Province? If so, you could take the bus departing from Zhuhai Gongbei Bus Station at every 18:30 to Yangshuo directly. The bus station is located at 233, Shihua West Rd, Gongbei, just opposite to the Gongbei Customs. The journey is about 13 hours.

Hello,

Im going for a week trip to Guilin-Longsheng-Sanjiang-Yangshuo. Can you recommend any restaurant selling food for for muslim for these places? Many thanks in advance.

Jul. 10,2009 20:26
Ms.Ruth(China) replied:

In Guilin:
You can accommodate and dine in Islamic Hotel, located on the Walking Street of Xicheng Lu. Near this hotel, you can find mosques.
Longsheng and Sanjiang are small places. Maybe, it would be a little difficult to find a muslim restaurant. When you go to there two places, you may as well pack some muslim food. In Yangshuo, you can go to the West Street. There are many retaurants in this street. Many foreigners go there. I believe you can find a muslim restaurant there.

Jul. 11,2009 10:21
Mr.Fakri(Malaysia) replied:

Hi Ruth,

Thanks for the reply. Yeah i plan to pack some muslim food in case i cant find any there. Thanks for the information ya. Appreciated it

Jul. 10,2009 22:15
Ms.Evelyn(China) replied:

There are no trains between Hong Kong and Guilin. You may go to Guangzhou from Guilin and then take the Guangzhou to Kowloon Through Train to go to Hong Kong. The through train is available at Guangzhou East Railway Station. As for the details of train time table, please read this page:

Thanks =)

Jul. 6,2009 20:15
Mr.Jerry replied:

Yes, it is better to go by train. Suggest you take Train T6 from Nanning to Beijing West. It stops at Guilin at 13:21 and arrives at Changsha at 20:32. about 7 hours. I have no idea if your time of arrival in Guilin is suitable to catch the train. There are other trains for choice.

I want to travel from Guilin to Hongkong by train on 18 th june 2009. can i book a ticket from India?how ?
what is the train time? cost of sleeper ticket? How safe is the travel ? do the trains run on correct time ? as i I have to travel back by connecting flight.
If yes kindly send me the e mail .
Thanks.

May. 19,2009 21:48
Mr.Ian replied:

I'm afraid that there is train running between Guilin and Hk. So, it seems that you have to take a flight to HK.
BTW, you could take trains to Shenzhen or Guangzhou firstly and then transfer to HK. However, the journey is a little complicated and need enough time on the way. On the other hand, it is difficult for you to book a train ticket in India.~ Anyway, the train schedule could be searched at: http://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/

Hello,

How do we get from Guilin (or Yangshuo, which would be great to leave from instead of going back to Guilin) to Zhongshan or Taishan in Guangdong Province in July? Do you know the time schedule? Thank you in advance!

-Joanne

May. 17,2009 01:56
Ms.Yuan(China) replied:

In my opinion, you'd better go back to Guilin, as it will be easier for you to find the intercity buses to go to Zhongshan or Taishan. You can take the bus at Guilin Bus Terminal, located at 427 Zhongshan Road South, Guilin. The buses to go to Zhongshan depart at 8:40, 9:40 and 11:00. (I'm not sure whether this schedule is the latest.) Hope it helps.

Hi, this is Rachel. You can take a long distance bus from Zhuhai to Guilin. (I think it's about 11 hours)The first day, you can stay in Guilin for a trip since you have this schedule, and go to Yangshuo by boat or raft the next day. (on this way, you can save the cost, no need to Yangshuo then turn back to Guilin again) Now we have a discount on a Four-star hotel in Yangshuo, the price is RMB360(including one breakfast),if you have interested, you can contact with me on msn:rachel666lhy@hotmail.com
