Oct. 24,2009 03:38 Mr.Leo replied:
The weather could reach 20C during daytime so a shirt is enough for you visiting in Guilin. There will not be very much rainfall in April since it is not a traditional rainy season. So, a good time for travel.

Hi we are planning a (photography) trip to Yangshou. I'm wondering which months of the year should be the best for changes having a blue sky instead of a complete grey. Last time i was in Yangshou / Guillin was in Januar. We had perfect sunny wetter, nice temperture eigher but the sky was still grey. Exally i like this kind of mysterious landscape but on my pictures the sky was all grey. So which months should offer most days of sun combined with the blue sky. Of course some clouds are fine (a bit mist in the early morning too). Thanks al lot, Marcel

I think October is better for the sake of weather. It is rainy from April to July.

When is the best time to go to Guilin? In terms of scenery and wheather.
Oct. 8,2009 23:05 Ms.Sophia replied:
Please come here in May, Sep or Oct, when the weather is comfortable without successive rainfall. And, the natural scenery is also beautiful in Spring and Autumn.
I am thinking of not coming in December due to the reports of gloom and low river water. How is Guilin, Longsheng & Yangshou from June 9 to July 1st?
Oct. 8,2009 23:01 Mr.Frankie replied:
June and July is the rainy season of Guilin, but much better than Dec. So, I think you could come here at both of June of July. Well, July may be a little hotter~

Actually, it is not a good idea to come to Guilin in Dec in winter. The scenery is less beautiful than in other seasons. And, the Li River may be stopped for the less water in the river, too.
