Hi arriving at Beijing Capital airport on 29th July mid afternoon. A party of 3 staying at Beijing Zhong an Hotel No.6 Kuijiachang Alley, Beijingzhan East Street, Dongcheng District and wondered what would be the best option to get there.

Jul. 21,2009 21:08
Mr.Frank replied:

Please take the airport shuttle bus Line 3 which could drive you to Beijing Railway Station. The bus fare is 16RMB per person. Your hotel is just 300 meters to the east of the railway station, so you could walk to the hotel easily when you arrive!

Hello there,
I am arriving at Beijing Airport from abroad using Emirates Airlines. After couple of hours, I will take a local flight from Beijing to Shenzhen. I would like to know Do I have to go to different terminal/building for the domestic flight? If yes, Are these two buildings/terminals very far from each other? How can I get about the Airport?
Thanks Alot

Jul. 12,2009 02:40
Mr.Qi replied:

It depends on the airlies. You can check the airlines of your ticket to find the corresponding terminal building.
http://www.travelchinaguide/cityguides/beijing/getting-there.htm
If you need a transfer, it should be from T3 ro T2, I guess. On the exit of 1F, T3 after you reclaim the lugguage, you can fins shuttle bus to T2.

I will arrive Tianjin (TSN) airport on July 14 using Air Asia. We are 4 peoples travelling in group and stay in King Wing Hot Spring Hotel, Choayang District, Beijing.

Could advise me what is the best transportation option & cost to reach this hotel.

Thanks :)

Jun. 30,2009 04:30
Mr.Shan replied:

Hi, when you arrive at the airport, you could take a taxi to Tianjian Railway Station (abour 50yuan & 30 minutes). Then, take a bullet train to arrive at Beijing South Railway Station (56yuab & 30 minutes). Finally, hire a taxi to the hotel quickly (about 40yuan). Because you have four people, the average price is reasonable~

Tips, please note the trains' timetable to make sure that you could catch one!

I'll be arriving in Tianjin Airport by AirAsia on 0705/16 Jul, but still struggling to get a connecting flight to Shenyang. The only airline that operate direct service is Sichuan Airlines, but there's no local GSA in Malaysia that I can issue ticket. Is there any other way I can solve my connecting problems? Just need an efficient transfer to Shenyang. DO you think it's worthwhile travelling down to BCIA for connecting flight or rather take a train from Tianjin? Appreciate your advice. many thanks.

Jun. 29,2009 22:48
Mr.Colin replied:

The fastest way is till go by air. You can go to buy the airticket when you get Tianjin Airport. There is the counter of Sichuan Airlines in the airport. It is too complicated to BCIA. If you fail to get ticket in Tianjin, you can consider the other ways.

Hello. How can I get from Tianjin airport into Beijing? I fly into Tianjin with air asia and need to end up at Sihui subway station (四惠地铁后面). Thanks so much!

Jun. 15,2009 20:59
Mr.Shan replied:

Hi, as I know that the Tianjin Airport has coaches to drive you to Bawangfen in Beijing. When you arrive at Bawangfen, you could take a taxi to Sihui very quickly and cheap.

If you miss the coach, please take the airport shuttle bus to reach Tianjin Railway Station where the bullet trains depart to Beijing South Railway Station frequently. The journey is only 30 minutes. When you arrive at Beijing South Railway Station, you could catch the city-bus Te 5 and then get off at the third stop-Hu Fang Qiao Lu Kou Xi. Or, ask a taxi to drive you to Gongzhufen subway station (10RMB). Here, you could transfer to Bus No.57 or subway Line 1 (Gongzhufen Statoion) to reach Sihui directly.

Or you can take Airport Line 3 to Yabao Rd and then change to Bus 44 to Chongwenmen West.
Good Luck~

Suggested that you 10 people share 3 taxis. The taxi fare from the airport to the hotel is about 70RMB per cab. Very reasonable and much easier than taking the airport shuttle bus!

what is your suggestion?the best and shortest way?
thank you very much

May. 22,2009 03:46
Ms.Jenny replied:

Hi, you will not miss the train. There are many bullet trains a day from Tianjing Railway Station to Beijing. For the best way, should be taxi directly to the railway station of Tianjin. Well, the better economical way is to take airport bus to the end of the airport bus line at Nanjing Rd and then change to taxi to the railway station. Take care~

There is not direct bus between these two airport, but the most convenient way is taking the airport bus to the ticket office of Civil Aviation Administration of CHina in Nanjing Rd, where shuttle buses to Beijing Capital Airport are departing every 30 minutes. Hi. Can you please advice how to get to Beijing South Railway Station from the Beijing Airport (T3)? I need to catch the train from the Beijing South Railway Station to Tianjin.

May. 11,2009 03:12
Mr.James replied:

Actually, there are direct buses from Capital Airport to Tianjin. If you want to catch the inter-city bullet train from South railway station to Tianjin, you should make a transfer, for there are airport shuttle buses to Beijing Railway Station and West Railway Station, but no bus to the south one. Suggest you take airport bus to Xidan and change to 102 to the south station. Good Luck.

I am arriving into Beijing around 11.00 pm in the evening and need to get to the Beijing Novotel Peace Hotel. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children. I understand the standard taxi can only take 4 people. Are there taxi vans easily available at the airport. Otherwise what is the best airport shuttle bus to take as I gather the trains have stopped by 11.00 pm.

Apr. 23,2009 21:15
Mr.James replied:

Take Airport Bus Line 3 and get off at Yabao Lu. Walk westforward, you can find Jinyu Hutong. The hotel is at 3, Jingyu Hutong, Wangfujing. You can take a taxi to the hotelm, just have to pay CNY10, the starting price. About 2 km from the airport bus station.

How can I get from the Beijing Capital Airport to Holiday inn, Temple of Heaven? Are certain taxis better that others (like in New York?). What price should I pay. I have young children so I think the subway won't work. Thanks!!!

Mar. 3,2009 02:45
Ms.Susan Li replied:

I think you'd better to take a taxi with children. No need to reserve a taxi in advance. It is easy to catch one once out of the airport. The referrence fare is around 120rmb.

Hi, how can I travel from the Capital Airport to Novotel Xin Qiao Beijing?
How long and how much would it take by taxi?
How about Airport Express?
Thanks!

Feb. 11,2009 01:20
Mr.Shan replied:

This hotel is 30 kilometers from the airport. It will cost 100rmb-120rmb to get there in 40 minutes by taxi. The method of Airport Express & Metro is easy. Firstly, take the Airport Express to its terminal Dongzhimen Station. Then transfer to the metro Line2 which could lead you to Chongwenmen Station. Exit the station, the hotel could be found just in front.

Ms.Jane replied:

Well, there is no direct shuttle could take you from Tianjin Airport to Tianjin Railway Station directly, so you'd better hire a taxi which costs about 40yuan. At the railway station, you could take a express train to Beijing South Railway Station. The trains depart frequently and only take half an hour to Beijing.

Another one, if your arrival is before 19:00, you could catch up the bus departing from Tianjin Airport to Beijing. It takes about two hours and 35yuan. The bus's terminal is Bawangfen in Beijing, via Beijing Railway Station.
