I will arrive in Guangzhou on the 7th (Saturday) of November at 18.30 and I was wondering what is best, is there any buses? Im going to Bai ling Hotel in Yanjiang Road Yuexiu district. Or how is it like to get hold of a taxi at this time and how much does it cost? Kindly regards Zan
Nov. 3,2009 04:29 Mr.Shan replied:
When you arrive at Guangzhou Airport, please take the shuttle bus Line 5 and then get off at Haizhu Square (海珠广场). Your hotel is located about one kilometer away to the east of the bus stop, so you could walk along the Yangjiang Middle Road to arrive there easily.

Hello Ms. Irlander. If you arrive at the right time at 18:30, you can take the shuttle bus Line 5 and get off at Haizhu Square. However, I think I may remind you that the flight always be delaied. 1. at Macau Airport, you could take the bus AP1 to reach Gongbei Port in one hour with a fare of MOP1. Or, you could hire a cab driving to Gongbei Port in half an hour with a fare of about MOP50. 2. To be opposite of the Gongbei Port of Zhuhai, you could find the Zhuhai Gongbei Bus Station. Here, you could catch a bus to reach Guangzhou Tianhe Bus Station directly with a fare of CNY63.
If you miss the bus to Tianhe directly, you could catch a bus to Guangzhou Provincial Bus Station or Guangzhou East Bus Station as well. Near the hotel, there are Renmin Nanlu bus stop, if you mean long-distance bus station, aren't any near the hotel. If you want to get to Shenzhen from Guangzhou, suggest you can take taxi to Guangzhou Railway Station or Guangzhou long-distance bus station nearby the railway station to take train or bus to Shenzhen. Bullet train is fater which can take you to shenzhen one hour later. It is about two hours by bus. Bullet trains and buses are both okay. As to the transportation, yes, there are month ticket, you can buy the card 55RMB for 20 times within a month. It is the cheapest and I think it is too much for your 4-day stay. Not all bus lines can use it. No necessary to buy the card in deed.
