Hi - I have a 13 hr lay-over between arrival at CAN and departure to Saigon. Do I need a visa if I want to stay at the airport Pullman hotel? Are there other options?
Nov. 10,2009 01:44 Mr.Sandy replied:
Hi, Ms Lidsa, as far as I know you can stay at CAN without a visa in the Port Restricted Area (leass than 24 horus) and do not use to fill the entry-exit registration card. That means you can not leave the terminal building to the hotel which is outside the building. You may try to enquiry the custom and ask if there is a permit can make you go to the hotel.

Good evening,
I travelled from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport to Beijing Capital on 27th of October, in the morning. While waiting for check-in, our baggage was lost. It was one solid bag on wheels (small enough, so we meant it as hand-luggage), black colour, with metal hand holder. There were materials from Canton Fair inside.
Could someone local please ask to Lost and Found counter whether someone haven't found and brought it? They unfortunately don't speak English, so I could not ask myself.
Thank you very much!
Best regards, Aija

Nov. 1,2009 22:02 Mr.Sandy replied:
You need to pay about 300RMB for the taxi fare from Guangzhou airport to Dongguan. It needs over one hour. There is shuttle bus between the airport and Dongguan, not limo service. My suggestion is you can use the shuttle bus to Dongguan city and then change to a taxi to your hotel.

Can you please tell me how I can get from Baiyun Intl Airport to Daysun Park hotel? My flight arrives at 2215.
Oct. 7,2009 00:49 Ms.Lily replied:
Take Airpor express bus Line 2 to Guangyun Lou, which is in Zhongshan West Road, the same road of the hotel. Walk a bit east after getting off the bus and you can see the Daysun Park Hotel. It takes one hour to get there and the ticket price for the airport bus costs about 22RMB. The last bus seems to leave from the airport at 23:00. If you miss the bus, take other lines to the city center, better in Tianhe Area. Then take a taxi to the hotel directly.
Just a clarificatory question.I'll also be staying at the Daysun Hotel also, how do you know where to get off? I mean, how do you know if that is the right spot to near the Hotel?
Oct. 16,2009 04:57 Mr.Shan replied:
Hi Megan, you should take the shuttle bus Line 2B to its terminal at Yutong Hotel firstly. The Daysun Park Hotel is about 1.4kms to the east of Yutong Hotel. So, you could walk there or hire a cab.
