Maybe the winter of Guangzhou is a little cold for Malaysian, although there is no very cold winter actually. It is suggested that you take a sweater and a jacket.

Guangzhou doesn't has very cold weather throughout a year. The average temperature is around 10C. Usually, a shirt or a thin sweater with a warm coat is ok. Well, it seems the clothes of four seasons could be found in Guangzhou at anytime.

Guangzhou and Ningbo is close to each other, while you have to fly or take train to Ningbo near Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province. It is hot during July. As the weather forcast says, temperature of those cities are all above 35C at the higheast during a day. Nothing special for precaution. It is just rainy sometimes. Do you mean fly to Gujarat from one of those cities? No direct flights I think. You may need to transfer at Delhi.
