FYI: Filipinos are not allowed to get a chinese visa in Shenzhen port. Must secure visa here in the Philippines. As far as we know, WE are banned from getting visa in shenzhen or any other port. You must get your visa from the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines. Beware of this number 710-9219, the travel agent working in this agency gave us the wrong info, assuring us that we can get chinese visa in Shenzhen.
hi, is it safe to go in Shenzhen? My friends and I are planning to go there end of November as a sidetrip of our visit to Hongkong and Macau. I kinda feel reluctant, there are 9 of us and they all wanted to go except me. I am deeply troubled if I should stay in Hongkong.

If you will just stay in the Special Economic Zone of Shenzhen, you could apply for a an 5-days' on-site visa when you enter into Shenzhen from HK. No China Visa or round trip ticket is required. For example, if you will go to Shenzhen through the Luohu Port, you could apply for the on-site visa from the immigration there. Just hold your valid passport~

Usually in Shenzhen, moslom restaurant name is uaually written in two languages. There is a Moslem Hotel in Wenjin Nanlu in Luohu District of Shenzhen. In Hong Kong, these restaurants are nott difficult to find in Wanchai, Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay. As to mode of transportation. Huanggang Pass of Shenzhen has regular buses to Disneyland directly evey 15-60 minutes from 7am-4pm. You can use Hong Kong MTR to back to your hotel in Hong Kong. If you stay in Kowloon, get to China Ferry Terminal to take ferry to Macau. HK-Macau Ferry Terminal in Sheung Wan is also fine. It is better to take ferry from Macau to Shenzhen Shekou, for it is much faster.

There is ferry and direct bus from HKIA to Shenzhen directly. It is faster to go by ferry. I recommend you stay in Luohu and dongmen areas. If you stay at this area, suggest you take bus to Luohu, Shenzhen from HKIA. For the port of Shekou in Shenzhen is farer to get to this area. From Shenzhen to HKIA: Take taxi to Luohu Border to catch early trains from Lo Wu to Sheung Shui (one stop, 20HKD within 10 minutes). The earlies train leaves from 5:45am. In Sheung SHui, find airport Bus A43. It will take you to the airport within one hour. You need to be reach the airport at least 45 minutes before the flight departure. Arrange you time and do not be late. Regards~

you have to take the bus from airport to dongguang and then take a taxi i dont really know about dongguang
