I will like to visit Shenzhen after my business trip in Zhongshan. Will appreciate any advise on transportation option from Shenzhen to Zhongshan and back to Shenzhen. What is the available mode and estimate cost?

Very easy to travel between these two cities by bus. The journey is 2.5 hours and 80RMB by bus:
Shenzhen to Zhongshan: the Shenzhen Luohu Bus Station (close to Shenzhen Railway Station)operates buses to Zhongshan Bus Staton from 06:50 to 21:00 with an interval of about 25 minutes. Zhongshan to Shenzhen: please also take the bus at Zhongshan Bus Station. The buses depart frequently from 06:50 to 21:00, too.

Hello, Rina. Both coach and ferry are available to Zhongshan from Hk Airport. By Coach: take Eternal East cross border Bus (E&E Bus) from HK airport to Zhongshan via Shenzhen Bay. It stops at Huhua Hotel, International Hotel and Xingchen Huayuan (Stars Garden). The ticket fare is 250HKD, for over 2 hours and need time to pass the border. By Ferry: It is more convenient. Hong Kong Airport Ferry Terminal has ship at 15:40 and arrive in Zhongshan Port 70 minutes later. Ticket fare is the same as the bus ticket.
Zhongshan to Shenzhen airport: 8:30-10:00-11:30-13:00-14:30-17:00 at Zhongshan terminal of Shenzhen Airport: at Qiwan Dao (Av.) near the Shangri-La hotel in Zhongshan City. About one hour drive.

Yes, the YXNZ has buses to Guzhen International (YUCCA)Hotel from 07:00 to 19:00 at an interval of about 40 minutes. The fare is 35RMB. From the Guangzhou Hotel, you could take the city-bus 183 and then transfer to No.91, 65, 101, or 104 at Provincial Museum to arrive at Yuexiu South Raod/ Or, you could take a taxi to the bus station, cheap enough~
Alternatively, the Guangzhou Passenger Transportation Station also supplies buses to Guzhen from 06:00 to 20:00 at an interval of about 20 minutes. The fare is 40yuan. From Haizhu Square, you could take the subway line 2 to reach Guangzhou Railway Station. Out of the exitH or exit D, you could walk to the bus station easily.

You can get there by bus. Walk west from Guangzhou Railway Station, you can find Guangdong Provincial Bus Station and Guangzhou City Bus Station. Both of these two bus stations has regular buses to Zhongshan. Ticket fare: about 35-40 yuan, time: 1.5 hours. :)

Hi, there are three scheduled coaches departing from HK Airport to the Xiaolan Hotel in Xiaolan Town everyday. They leave respectively at 07:45, 14:45, 18:45. The fare is HK$220 per person. If you missed the direct bus, you could go to Zhongshan City by bus firstly and then transfer to Xiaolan Town easily. The buses to Zhongshan depart at 07:25, 08:25, 09:25, 10:25, 11:25, 12:05, 13:05, 14:05, 15:05, 16:05, 17:05, 18:05, 19:05. The fare is HK$250.
