In the same terminal (Terminal A), I think. It will not need so much time, for transfer between international flights. About one hour is enough. To be frank, delays is not rare to China Eastern airlines. Any way, nice trip.:-)

Jul. 19,2009 02:38
Mr.Qi replied:

There should be airport shuttle bus there at midnight as the info shows, but I never been there ao late. No direct shuttle bus to Renmin Square. Suggest you get to the Bell Tower and then change to a taxi to the place you want.

Jul. 22,2009 06:18
Ms.KIRA_ZHAO(China) replied:

so ,what is the midnight exactly.anybody will pick up then .it will be safe to take a tax,but i will cost 400 yuan RMB.i mean the most.i think you'd better ask the officers in the airport.

Jul. 23,2009 08:38
Mrs.Grillo(USA) replied:

Midnight is 12am. I was concerned if I would beable to find transportation that late. If there was a shuttle bus still going to the Bell Tower or finding a taxi at the Bell Tower 1 am or 2 am. Thanks for the info.

Jul. 28,2009 01:10
Mr.Shan replied:

Please don't worry! The airport shuttle bus will be in operation until the last flight arrival. And it is easy to hire a taxi in the downtown area even at 1am or 2am.

The Xian Xianyang Airport Expressway is opened to traffice on July 8th. The eight-lane expressway reaches the highest standard of the construction in the west. It starts from Zhuhong Lu Innerchange and ends at Dizhang Town in Weicheng District in Xianyang. It only takes about 10 minutes to finish the whole trip, which saves half an hour than the previous route.

Hi, I wish to fly from Istanbul to Xi'an.Does sombody know a good connection? thanks

Jun. 27,2009 01:46
Mr.Hank replied:

Hi, the Air China and the Turkish Airline have scheduled flights from Istanbul to Beijing, China everyday. So, you could take an international flight firstly arrive at Beijing Capital International Airport and then transfer to a domestic airline to Xi'an Airport. There are frequent flights between these two cities~
PS: you could search the flight information at http://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-flights/

Thanks

May. 25,2009 04:08
Ms.Meng replied:

Do you mean the guesthouse hotel near the airport? If yes, I think you could go there when you arrive, no need to do reservation in advance.

May. 25,2009 22:23
Ms.Anna replied:

Yes, that's what I meant. Thank you for your response. So, is it not directly at the airport?

May. 26,2009 02:23
Ms.Meng replied:

Well, I remembered that there is marks leading you to the hotel. Just out the baggage claiming area, there is a reception center, you may ask help from the workers! Don't worry, Xi'an Airport is small so that you could find the hotel easily.

To take the airport bus. If by taxi, you should pay 100rmb to the hotel. The airport bus ticket is 27rmb. Hi , Im planning to go from Guangzhou to Xian by train,to Climb Mt huashaun and see the terra cotta solders how long is the train trip, and what is the cost for a sleeper or seat. would 4 or 5 days be enough time to do this trip, I plan to fly out to Bangkok from Xian to Bangkok, what air lines do you suggest.
Thanks

Apr. 10,2009 20:07
Mr.Qi replied:

Taking the fastest train from Guangzhou to Xian will cost 21 hours. The hard sleeper ticket is about 430rmb and soft sleeper is 650rmb. 4 or 5 days is enough. Usually, we would like to climb the mountain at night and get down the next morning after seeing the sunrise. There seems to be only one flight from Xian to Bangkok.
