Another thing, phone cards is also needed to buy. it is much expensive to make a phone call at hotles. One card (minimum fare 60)is enough during your short stay in Hong Kong.
I would like to add, if you do not use up all the money charged in Octopus card. Surplus amount can be changed to cash and given back to you.
