Im planning to go to hongkong then trip to Macao and Shenzhen. Do i need a visa going to Shenzhen?
Nov. 5,2009 01:28 Ms.Jaymay replied:
Yes, you have to apply for a China visa in advance. On the other hand, you could apply for a 5-day's onsite visa to Shenzhen at one the customs ports between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. In the 5 days, you could visit the Special Economic Zone of Shenzhen.
You do not need a visa if you solely going to Macau and Hongkong unless you will go to mainland China like Guangzhou and neighboring provinces of Macau! Better ask your travel agency. ^_^

Nov. 7,2009 01:43 Mr.Sam replied:
It seems that you have gotten the uncorrect info. Hong Kong to Macau, you could take a ferry at the HK China Ferry Terminal (at Tsim Sha Tsui) or at the HK-Macau Ferry Terminal (at Sheung Wan). The journey is just about one hour.
Go to Hongkong side and take the Ferry ride to Macau. It departs every 15 mins and costs around 980 pesos per person per way. If you travel light (few things to bring), take the bus that goes to Star Ferry. Or better MRT (train).
