We're travelling from HK (Kowloon) to Macau by ferry. From Kowloon to pier what is the best mode of transport and how much?
From Macau to Hotel Royal, Macau, what is the taxifare, or is there any free shuttle?

Thank you.

Oct. 21,2009 20:40
Mr.Leo replied:

The ferries from Hong Kong to Macau could be taken at two terminals. One is located at China Hong Kong City, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, which could be in your walking-distance. The other one is located at Sheung Wan, which could be reached by Star Ferry from Tsim Sha Tsui.

Yes, the Hotel Royal, Macau supplies free shuttle bus at the terminal. But, the bus just leaves every 30 minutes. So, if you would like to save time, please hire a cab with a fare of no more than 20Mop.

Hi,we will be arriving Macau on the 25th from Hongkong (TST) and will be staying overnight at Metropole Hotel. From the Macau Ferry Terminal, how do we get to the hotel? If we take the taxi, how long ang how much will it cost? Or is there a free shuttle that will pass our hotel? Thank you!

Oct. 18,2009 02:46
Ms.Liv replied:

It will takes about 20 minutes from the airport to the hotel and the taxi fare is approximaterly 50-60MOP. There is no free shuttle bus from the airport. You can take shuttle bus AP1 (5MOP) to Marine Ferry Terminal where the free shuttle bus can be found to the hotel directly.

Hi, we are planning a trip to macau & underground shopping mall in zhuhai, Gongbei City.
Few questions:
(a) how to take bus from Macau Int'l airport to Hotel Grandeur & how long the journey & if by taxi, how much estimated?
(b) how to travel from Hotel Grandeur Macau to underground shopping mall in zhuhai, Gongbei City?
(c) is it safe to travel free & easy with kids?

Thank you.

Oct. 16,2009 02:54
Mr.Leo replied:

1. the distance between the hotel and Macau Airport is about 10kms. It will cost you about 50Mop to arrive there in 15 minutes by taxi.

Alternatively, you could take the bus AP1 from Macau Airport ot the Ferry Terminal firstly. It is about 30 minutes and 5MOP. Here, you could catch the free shuttle bus supplied by the Hotel Grandeur directly.

2. there are many city-buses running from the hotel to the Gongbei Port directly. Actually, the distance is just about 4kms. So, you coudl go there by cab, too.
3. No need worry about too much about traveling outside. Please take it easy! However, no matter where you are, please take care of your kids!

Hi

We are going to Macau from Hongkong. There are 2 ferry services - Which company would you recommend ?

We shall be staying at the Metropole hotel.
Is it within walking distance to the tourist attractions eg Ruins of St Paul Church etc ? If not which bus to take ?

How about food.... where can we get good and cheap food??

Thanks.

Sep. 27,2009 20:20
Mr.Frankie replied:

Where will you leave from Hong Kong? The turbojet mainly departs from Sheung Wan pier and the other depart from HK China Ferry Terminal at Tsim Sha Tsui. You should choose one close to your hotel~

It seems that the Metropole Hotel is not located very close to the attractions you metioned.
