Mr.George(Greece) said:

I want to visit Macau. I was wondering is I can find American label clothes such as Polo, DKNY, Boss and Hilfiger in good prices. Are there any Factory Outlets as the ones you can find in New York and Las Vegas??

Aug. 26,2009 03:50
Mr.and Mrs Smith(Macau) replied:

No factory ooutlets here, just the Stores. There is a SALE right now and things are pretty cheap. But if you want to spend a few days in Hong Kong they have a Factory outlet there. You need to get 2 trains there and its close to Disneyland Hong Kong.
If you want FAKE stuff.. then you need a Visa for China and you can get all that stuff there, place in China ZHUHAI and SHENZEN

me and my husband are coming to macau for our honeymoon, where is the best and cheapest places to shop? are branded clothing cheap aswell?

Aug. 15,2009 03:28
Ms.Jersy replied:

Hi, I think you could go to these places listed on this page. Macau is small so that the shopping and tourist places are alway stay together. For branded clothes, yes, you could find some at very satisfying discount. However, for these European and American brands, it is a little higher than in its own country.

Aug. 26,2009 03:46
Mr.and Mrs Smith(Macau) replied:

How long are you coming to Macau for? I think 4-5 days is enough in Macau for honeymooners, travelers I would say 3-4 days (only because they would travel at a fast pace and you wouldnt want that in a honeymoon). If you want a nice honeymoon..spend 4 nights at Venetian, located in Taipa Island.. as it has everything under one roof. The Canal Shops are great and has most branded stuff (at expensive prices, but there is a SALE right now and prices are reasonable), they have a food court with all different types of meals and they also have 5 star restaurants. Across from he Venetian the recently opened City of Dreams...and HARD ROCK HOTEL. nice for a night out - try HORIZONS great food. Then take a cab to SAN MA LOW..and check out the Portuguese and Chinese architecture. Also located there is ST PAULS ruins and Foretss of Mong Ha. San Ma low is Located in Macau. There is plenty of lunch options there. But if you want to head back to the city area.. try the GRAND LISBOA buffet or Star world Buffet .. real nice. Be sure to visit MGM as it has a really nice indoor/outdoor thing happening and its awesome. Another day you can catch a bus or cab to Cheoc Van beach and have lunch at LA GONDOLA...nice little Italian restaurant on the beach.
Now if you want cheap outlets there is really nothing like that in Macau .. but there is in Hong Kong ..so you might want to spend a few nights exploring there.
The only cheap stuff you get hereis FAKEs..and you can go get a VISA for ZHUHAI or SHENZEN ad go shopping there. Hope this helps

hi i wanted to knw is macau highly expensive to travel around?(Attractions and Activities) Including tapia? And cotai strip?

Aug. 19,2009 02:39
Mr.Jason replied:

Attractions are not very expensive. Accomodation and goods are higher at price. Comparatively, Hong kong is better, specially in hotels.

Aug. 26,2009 03:18
Mrs.K(Macau) replied:

Most people who come to Macau stay at Venetian and LOVE IT, as it has everything, Shopping, entertainment and slots. But there is alot to do in Macau and its cheap to get around. Modes of transport is Bus and Taxi. Macau is not SMALL.. but not very HUGE either .. you can pretty much do most it in 3-4 days depending on how fast you travel. Best times to travel is OCT til MAR.. as the weather is cooler.
