Jun. 17,2009 21:07

You mean monks in Guangzhou? I am sure that you can see that in Shaolin Temple in Henan Province. :-)

Aug. 29,2009 02:01
Mr.Me(USA) replied:

They might not be any monks there, but Foshan (a 30 minute bus trip from guangzhou) offers some of the best martial arts shows and instruction in all of China - trust me, I have been to Song Shan and Wudan Shan in Henan and Hubei - Foshan definetely ranks up there!

Jun. 3,2009 03:52

Hi, Both ok. Beijing close to Gongyuan Qian Station and Shangxiajiu close to Changshou Rd station. They are all busy business areas, keep careful while wandering on the streets. Beijing Rd is better choice for buying clothes. Have a nice time.

Mr. William(USA) said:

I just visited Baiyun Mountain yesterday. I was really nice! If you walk up the mountain there are several side trails that are paved steps. Also you mostly walk along the main road that has some traffic at times. At one point there is a walking path/steps that has many raised/embedded stones that is supposed to massage your feet if you take your shoes off but I tried and it was way too painful to walk on for a fat westerner! Anyway, I recommend it for anyone who likes to see some scenery of the city and mountian and get some good exercise at the same time!

Is there a day tour from Guangzhou Disneyland Hong Kong? Any good recommendation on local tour agencies for day tour?

What is the average taxi fare from the airport to town centre? Do you have to negotiate for the fare first or by go by the taxi-meter?

First timer to Guangzhou, appreciate any feed back on dos' and don't.
Thanks

Feb. 18,2009 09:46
Mr.MY in GZ(Malaysia) replied:

Chan,
just go any travel agent will arrange you HK disneyland. Standard price not more than or around RMB 200.
Taxi Fare by meter to town is about RMB 150 to town. Depends which part of town. Nothing like KLIA buying ticket.
Hope this helps.
