The Great Wall is open throughout a year. Frankly, Dec is very cold in Beijing so please keep your warm~ If you are worried about the cold weather, please consider delaying your trip several months later.
Oct. 10,2009 05:09 Ms.Kay replied:
Dec 30th which you choose to visit Beijing (especially the Great Wall) is very cold. It is certain not the right time. You cannot imagine the heavy wind and low temperature. It is open all the year round. If you have no choice, please remember to bring warm coat and cap.

In terms of weather conditions,is end-Mar or early-May a better time to visit Beijing? My group is quite big and a visit to the Great Wall is a must.
Jul. 16,2009 01:42 Mr.Qi replied:
Spring is not the best season to visit Beijing, and the best should be winter. It may have flying dust and sand during March to May. However, these are just few days. In the past spring, Beijing only have three sandstorms as I know.
