Oct. 27,2009 20:23 Mr.Jason replied:
Take airport Bus A21 to Prudential Centre and walk 5 minutes to the hotel. Fare: 33HKD per person. The other option: airport express to Kowloon and turn to free shuttle bus K4 to the hotel directly. Fare: 90HKD per person. If you all can take one taxi, it is better than use the airport express. The taxi fare to the hotel is about 300HKD.
We will be in Hongkong in December and I need to know what is the best transportation from Hongkong Airport to Disneyland Hotel for a group of four? Do you think taxi would be the best?
Also, we will transfer to downtown hotel (Imperial Hotel), what is the best trasnportation from Disneyland Hotel to Imperial Hotel? And from Imperial Hotel to Hongkong Airport. For four persons
Oct. 25,2009 01:45 Ms.Liz replied:
Take taxi to DIsneyland from the airport is not bad and cheaper&convenient (no more than 150HKD) to go by airport express mtr. If wanting cheaper, you can take city bus. Use MTR from Disneyland to Imperial Hotel: Disneyland to Sunny Bay (6HKD) to Lai King (10.5HKD) to Tsim Sha Tsui (8.5HKD). THe hotel is nearby Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. Not far from the hotel, there is airport bus stop for Bus A21 at Nanthan Road/Middle Road. It can take you to the airport, fare: 33HKD.

And then from Big Buddha we're going back to airport to get our luggage and then go to the BP International Hotel, Kowloon. From Hotel after check in we plan to go to Victoria Peak/Wax Museum. With this itinerary is it advisable to buy Octopus card?
Thanks
Sep. 15,2009 22:03 Mr.Shan replied:
Yes, both of the T1 and T2 of HK Airport supply baggage storage. You could find the desk respectively at Level 5, Arrival Hall, T1 and Shop 001, Level 3, T2.
From the airport to the Big Buddhas: you could take the Bus S1 (3.5HK$)or a taxi in blue color (30HK$)at the Ground Transportation Center of HK Airport to reach the MTR's Tung Chung. Here, you could take the bus 23 to reach the foot of the Buddhas directly in one hour.
From the airport to the Hotel: you could take the Airport Express (90HK$/person) and get off at Kowloon. Then, please take the free shuttle bus K4 which could take you from Kowloon to the BP International Hotel directly.
If you will stay in HK over 3 days, you may consider purchasing an Octopus Card which will ease your trip. There are two kinds of Octopus Card for travelers. One is 220HK$ allows you to take the Airport Express for one time and unlimited rides on HK MTR in 3 days. The other one is 330HK$ allows two Airport Express single journeys and inlimited rides on HK MTR in 3 days. The 50HK$ deposite of both types will be refunded to you.

If not, from the airport transport center, you could take the bus A22 to reach the hotel in one hour. For a quicker one, you could take the Airport Express to reach Kowloon in 30 minutes and then take the free bus K3 to the hotel.

Good day!
Just want to know how to go to Po Lin (Precious Lotus) Monastery from BP International Hotel. And then from the monastery to Victoria Peak.
Will we have enough time until nightime if we're going after lunch to the monastery and then followed by Victoria Peak, on our first day.
Thanks so much.

Mr.Jamie replied:
Walk to Jordan MTR Station to take metro to Central, change Tung Chung Line to Tung Chung MTR Station. Then walk to Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car station to tale cable car to the monastery. Back to the Peak, you can take the same metro to Central and take bus 15 to the peak.

Hi,
Is it still possible to visit Po Lin (Precious Lotus) Monastery if our flight is 1.:30pm? We will be staying at BP International Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui and would like to visit the monastery.
How far is it from our hotel? And how to go there from our hotel and back?
Thanks.

Mr.Hank replied:
Seems you will not have enough time to visit the Po Lin Monastery which opens at 09:00. Departing from your hotel, at least 1.5 hours is needed for you to arrive there. And, you should leave for airport at 12:30 at least.

Mr.Hank replied:
This catholic centre is located in Sheung Wan, so you could take the MTR to Sheung Wan directly. The Victoral Peak is located in Central, which is just one stop from Sheung Wan by MTR.

Thankk you.

Mr.Hank replied:
As I know, this hotel supplies shuttle bus service from the airport. You'd better contact with the hotel for details. Considering you have two kids, you may hire a taxi to drive to the hotel directly, the fare is around 250HK$.
If not, from the airport transport center, you could take the bus A22 to reach the hotel in one hour. For a quicker one, you could take the Airport Express to reach Kowloon in 30 minutes and then take the free bus K3 to the hotel.
