Hello, what is the best way to travel from Guangzhou East Railway station to Dongguan Station? What is the cost of the trip?
I will be travelling from Hong Kong to Guangzhou on the KCR for a meeting. Then I need to travel to Dongguan City for another meeting before returning to Hong Kong on the same day.

Oct. 13,2009 03:34
Mr.Sam replied:

At the Guangzhou East Railway Station, there are frequent bullet trains to Dongguan directly. It just takes you about 40 minutes and 75RMB. When you arrive in Guangzhou from HK, you could purchase the train ticket to Dongguan on the spot. Well, the train schedule could be searched at http://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/

Hi. I will reach Baiyun airport at 10am. How do i reach HUMEN "HuangHe" wholesale area OR nearby from Baiyun airport if i want to use train. Please advise. Thanks

Oct. 13,2009 03:27
Mr.Hank replied:

No need to use a train which is not conevenient. When you arrive at Baiyun Airport, please take the shuttle bus Line 1 to reach Guangzhou Railway Station. Here, you could find the Provincial Bus Station of Guangzhou to the west of the railway station. At this bus station, there are frequent buses departing to Humen about every 20 minutes. The bus terminal is at the Yongan Bus Station, Humen, where is the Huanghe Wholesale Market is just located.

i will land at 7 0ct on guangzhou air port from pakistan,
i have to go ruian city,
so which is the best and cheaper way,
Train?
Bus?
By Air?

if train , it will availabel from Guangzhou railway station or from Guangzhou east railway station.

Sep. 29,2009 02:45
Mr.Leo replied:

Is it the Ruian City in Wenzhou City of Zhejiang Province? If so, there is no direct train could be used and only several buses in operation. The distance by bus is about 1,600kms, a long journey. So, please consider taking a flight from Guangzhou to Wenzhou firstly and then transfer to Ruian by bus at Wenzhou Central Bus Station. The bus journey is just one hour.

I will arrive Guangzhou in Sep.28 and planning to go to Shen Zhen in Sep.30 by train.
1. Should I go to buy Bullet train ticket in advance when arrive or
could I buy on the travel date & go immediately ? Plan to buy at 7:00 AM for Time:08.00 AM.
2. How much the ticket cost exactly ? someone told me that Guangzhou --> Shen Zhen is just CNY75
3. If I buy in Sep.30 & return in the same day, round trip ticket is avialable ? How much ?
4. From Shen Zhen Train station, I plan to go to Chinese Folk Culture Village.
Should I go there by bus or direct train to there ? which one is cheaper ?
If go by bus is cheaper, where I should take the bus near the station & Bus No. ?
Please help advise. Thanks a lot!

Sep. 24,2009 02:52
Mr.Hank replied:

1. although there over 100 trains running from Guangzhou to Shenzhen, it is suggested that you buy the return ticket at least one day in advance. So, you could purchase the train which you right want. On the other hand, the train tickets will be needed greatly then, since Sep 30 is the starting of the National Holiday.
2. Yes, the ticket fare is CNY75/adult.
3. Yes, you could purchase the return ticket. The fare is also CNY75.
4. When you arrive Shenzhen Railway Station, it is suggested that you take the subway to the Window Of the World fistly, and then walk to the Chinese Folk Culture Village. Very close. The fare is CNY5/person, just CNY1 or CNY2 more than by bus. And, it is easier to find the subway station at the railway station than the bus station. Finally, the subway will save lots of time for you~

Hi,
I'd like to go to GuangZhou from KL, Malaysia.
What are better options?
1. Direct flight from KL to Malaysia or
2. Direct flight from KL to HK, and then train/bus to Guangzhou?

I plan to bring two elderly parents > 60 yrs old, to Foshan to visit ancestral homes.
Would appreciate any advice at all.

Thanks.

Sep. 22,2009 03:02
Mr.Frankie replied:

Well, it is suggested that you take the flight to HK firstly. And, at Hong Kong Airport, you could catch a direct bus to Guangzhou downtown area easily. No need to do anymore transfer at Singapore.

Hi! I am planning to go from Guangzhou International Airport to Chang Ping town, Dongguan by bullet train.
How to make bookings?
Need to travel to railway/ bullet station? How to go and how much?
How much to pay from train station to Changping town? Travelling time?

Or should I get a taxi directly from Guangzhou Airport to Chang Ping? How much?

Thanks & Regards,
Sean

Sep. 20,2009 01:38
Mr.James replied:

Usually, you do not need to book the ticket in advance, coz there are lots of trains a day. You can take Guangzhou aiport bus to Guangzhou East Railway Station and then find the train ticket to Changping. You can get there in a bit more than half an hour. The ticket fare is 75/85RMB. Not a good idea to go by taxi. You can take airport bus to Dongguan and then take a taxi or city bus to Changping.
