From September 30 to October 1, the Museum will be closed. From October 2 to 9, visitors can enter through the Meridan Gate (Wumen) but exit only through the Gate of Divine Prowess, the West Prosperity Gate (Xihuamen) and the East Prosperity Gate (Donghuamen) with the latter two functioning only as exits. During the National Day holidays, the number of visitors will be monitored so as not to endanger the art. There may be waits, and some galleries may be temporarily closed.
