Hello,
I am going to Zhangjiajie in late August, and want to know about other cities and sites to visit in Hunan Province and the Zhangjiajie area. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Apr. 14,2009 21:47
Ms.Emma replied:

Zhangjiajie is a good choice to go in summer. It has beautiful landform scenery and flourishing vegetation. If I was paying a visit in Hunan, I may try to go to Xiangxi, visit the Phoenix Town.

Could you assist me by telling me the distance, the cost and please make any other recommendations that you believe is necessary in making this trip possible. Xie Xie

Mr.Jason replied:

You should tell us which city you will come in Hunan? The best way is flying from Changsha, Hunan to Zhengzhou directly. Here, search a flight for you:

Ms.LiBaiJia(Cambodia) said:

Hi,

We will be visiting Zhangjiajie at the end of this month and early June. How many days would be ideal to visit this area? If we stay 3 1/2 days is this enough to see the national park and also phoenix town. Thanks!

May. 2,2009 22:27
Mr.Qi replied:

Yes, I think it is enough. Generally, if you choose flights to zhangjiajie, you should arrange one-night stay here, for most of the lights arrive Zhangjiajie in the afternoon or at night. Two days at Zhangjiajie are enough. Anyway, shou should well arrange your schedule.

May. 5,2009 00:37
Ms.Iris Wong(Malaysia) replied:

3 1/2 days should be sufficient. You need about 2 days to visit ChiangJiaJie and 1 day to visit the Phoenix City. Travelling from Phoenix City to ChiangJia Jie by bus takes about 4 1/2 hours. Enjoy your trip.

I'll be going to Hunan in mid April, will the weather
be still cold. What kind of attire should i bring along? This will be my 1st time to Hunan, will 6 days
be enough to go sightseeing. Any precaution measure should i take? I"ll be travelling alone from Guangchow
is it better to take domestic flight from der or taking the train......which i was told takes 8 hrs ....

Mar. 1,2009 03:54
Ms.Mo E(china) replied:

it wont be cold in mid April.unless it's rainning,it will be cool,so u might need to bring a core-tex coat with u,mostly short sleeves is fine.if there's enough time, its alright to take a train but not a night shift,or u will not see the views on the way.if u comfort and efficiency is very important to u,then flight is highly recommended.btw, food there is very hot.hope u like hot, enjoy ur trip =)
