Hi I'm gg Xiamen on 4 Oct..(is their National Day week) 1)I thought of gg to Hongkong too fr there. Any cheapest way 2 get there.I end my leave on 11 Oct... Or 2) Any suggestion where I should cover up north or South of Xiamen.

Yes, Oct 4 is just during the National Holiday (Oct1~8) of this year. The cheapest way from Xiamen to Hong Kong is taking a bus and transfer at Shenzhen. Both of Jimei Bus Station and Hubin Bus Station of Xiamen has one scheduled bus to Hong Kong respectively. The journey is about 11 hours and costs about 200RMB. The terminal is Shenzhen Futian Bus Station, where you could take the subway to the Futian Port between Shenzhen and Hong Kong directly. The fare is just 3RMB>

Take MTR from Hong Kong to Guangzhou East ans then train from Guangzhou East to Xiamen. Ticket fare is about 190HKD 200RMB（hard sleeper)/300RMB (soft sleeper). Time: 1 13 hours or so Xiamen to Anhui Province: Suggest you go by air. It takes 30 hours by train from Xiamen to Hefei and the airticke is not expensive now.

If you arrive at the airport not very late, you could find some taxies which drive several passengers together to Shishi directly. It takes about 1.5 hours.
Or, you could catch the airport intercity bus to Shishi. When you reach the arrival hall, please follow the airport signs to the Long-distance Bus Counter to get a ticket. The bus takes about 2 hours one the way.

It is cloudy and the temperature is about 32-34 at the highest. Take City bus No.27 to the ferry terminal near Zhongshan Road and then change to a taxi. Bus station is close to the airport. Or you can take airport bus (6 yuan per person) to the city center first and then change to a taxi to the hotel.
