What is the best area to stay in Hainan to enjoy the beach. A budget or mid range hotel would be nice. Also what is the best way to get to hainan from Guilin?
Is it easy to travel the island by public transport?

There is no direct train from guilin to sanya. You can have a transfer. Actually, the air fare from guilin to sanya is quite cheap if you book a ticket from a travel agency as they will offer a big discount. It is easy to travel by public transport there.

It is enough to stay 6 nights. There is no train between haikou and zhuhai. There is a bus there. It starts at haikou long-distance bus station. The departure time is 13:30 (only one run). The duration is about 12 hours but i do not know the cost, sorry for that. Have a good day!

Hello. It is easy to get around these place by bus. You can go the east line of the island. Get to Qionghai from haikou first, then got o Wanning, then to Sanya. If your travel group is has 4 people, you can consider to rent a taxi to cover the route. Need negotiate. Here are some package tours. The taxi should be no more than 50yuan. But, your time sounds urgently. At least, 30 minutes is needed from airport to the port and plus other time, such as baggage claim, at the airport, you have to arrange the time properly.
