i am planning a trip for 2 girls and thinking of visiting Sanya in mid Oct. i was told Yalong Bay is the most beautiful bay out of the others. it seems it's a rainy season there as well. but will the rain stop very fast? or rain for a long time?

As I know the rainy season of Hainan is going to be over since late Semptember. So, it will be fine to go there in Mid-October.

It is still very hot there and seldom storms there. Not a very good time for the heat, and it will be more comfortable to be there in Late October or November. Suugest you pay attention to the weather forecast one week before leaving.

July is in the low season of Sanya. It will be cheaper in accomodation. It is hard to see the expense for two weeks. If going for holiday, you should prepare 8000 rmb for two weeks, exluding the international flight part.

July is the hottes time in Sanya throughout a year. The rain may happen suddenly but will stop soon. The typhoon will cover the beautiful color of the air and the sea sometimes. As for sunbath, please book one of the luxurious 5-star hotels in the Asiam Dragon Bay, all of which have excellent beaches.
