As a tourist city, the transportation in Qufu is not quite up to the standard of Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province: it doesn't have its own airport, and its railway station is not so big. However, it's not at all difficult to get around. As it's only 160 kilometers from Jinan, you can take a flight to Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport, and then go to Qufu from there. And on your way to Qufu, you can visit Jinan as well. There are two provincial expressways leading there: Jingfu (Beijing - Fuzhou) and Rihe (Rizhao - Heze) expressways and two national highways: Nos.104 and 327. So the road traffic of Qufu is very convenient.
