Yantai Laishan Airport (YNT), located in Laishan Town, Yantai City, is 15 kilometers (9.32 miles) away from Yantai. Air service began in October of 1984. Now, more than 20 domestic air routes have been opened to such cities as Beijing, Shanghai, Harbin, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Guilin, Harbin, Jinan, Hangzhou, and Kunming. In addition, there is international service to Seoul, Pusan (in South Korea), Osaka (in Japan) and Hong Kong. After arriving at Laishan Airport, you can take the airport shuttle or a taxi to the city. The charge of taking the airport shuttle is around CNY10 per person and its terminal is at the Yantai Railway Station (No.128 Beima Road). A taxi to the city will cost about CNY40. If you want to depart Yantai for other places, you can take the airport shuttle in front of the CAAC Building or at Yantai Railway Station two hours ahead of your flight. Yantai Railway Station is located at No.128 Beima Road, Yantai. Now there is service to Beijing, Shijiazhuang Shanghai, Xian, Jiamusi, Qingdao, Jinan, Xuzhou, Zibo, and other cities. You can buy tickets at the railway station or at the ticket agencies in Yantai, such as the Yantai Feida Ticket Agency at No.20 Jianshe Road (A17) and the Tianxiang Aviation Service Company at No.1 Beima Road. The 11 main coach bus stations of Yantai are Yantai Coach Bus Terminal, Qingnian Lu Coach Bus Station, Yantai West Coach Bus Station, Beima Lu Coach Bus Station, Yantai East Coach Bus Station, Penglai Coach Bus Station, Mouping Coach Bus Station, Laizhou Coach Bus Station, Laiyang Coach Bus Station, Zhaoyuan Coach Bus Station and Qixia Coach Bus Station. At present, these stations have set up the long-distance network of selling tickets, so you can buy the tickets of the starting stations or round-trips from any station. South Avenue Branch: No.8 Yudong Road, Yantai It is best to use the Yantai Coach Bus Terminal (No.86 West Avenue, Zhifu District, Yantai) for the long-distance bus, because there are more routes and it's the largest station.
And the Beima Lu Coach Bus Station (on the Beima Road and to the west of the Yantai Railway Station) offers two tour lines on weekends. One is to the Resort of Aishan Hot Spring which is located in the Songshan Town of Qixia City, Yantai. The other line is to the Mou's Manor in Qixia City.
Yantai Port Passenger Transport General Incorporation set up two passenger stations - Yantai Port Passenger Transport Station (No.155 Beima Road, Yantai) and Yantai Port Huanhai Lu Passenger Transport Station (No.2 Huanhai Road, Yantai). Each day, quite a few ships shuttle between Yantai and Dalian and you can go to these two stations to take the ship to Dalian. There are three categories of the passenger ships to Dalian - ordinary, ro-ro and high-speed. And their flight time to Dalian is respectively 8H, 5.5H to 7.5H and 3H.
