Shanghai has cuisines from everywhere in China. Some may not be that popular as the famous Cantonese, Sichuan and Zhejiang Cuisines; however they are still alive in this city to cater for varied tastes.

East Asia Chaozhou Restaurant (Chaozhou Cuisine)
Chinese name: 东亚潮州酒楼 (dōng yà cháo zhōu jiǔ lóu)
Specialties: Chaozhou, although belongs to Guangdong Province, has cuisine of its own unique features different from Cantonese Cuisine. This old Chaozhou Cuisine restaurant offers authentic Chaozhou dishes. The special Chaozhou Kungfu Tea is served prior to the meal. The main dishes are all with light, clear and fresh flavor. The cold spotted crab is highly recommended. The various dim sums are also tasty.

Shu You (Fujian Cuisine)

Specialties: This is a chain restaurant from Xiamen of Fujian Province. Fijian Cuisine along with Cantonese Cuisine forms the mainstream of the restaurant. Fresh seafood makes the main dishes. Dining environment and services here are excellent. Chinese Kungfu Tea is offered free of charge.

Specialties: Hubei Cuisine is a little same with Hunan Cuisine for its hot and spicy flavor. However, Hubei Cuisine restaurants are not as popular as Hunan Cuisine restaurants in Shanghai. This restaurant is a fairly good Hubei Cuisine restaurant in Shanghai. The chop and lotus root soup is recommended.
