Most of the hotels and restaurants that have opened around Jiuzhaigou Valley are still a fair distance from the entrance gate, and taking a taxi is the most convenient way for you to get there. The start-rate fare of the taxis is CNY5, with a surcharge fare of CNY1.4 per additional kilometer (0.62 miles). The area around Jiuzhaigou Valley is similar to that of a small town and most places can be reached by taxi for less than CNY10.
