Xi'an metro line 1 starts at Fenghe Forest Park in the west and ends at Fangzhicheng in the east. It has a total length of about 19 miles (31 kilometers) and has 23 stations. The section travels through the ancient City Wall underground with junctions under Yuxiangmen and Chaoyangmen.

A single journey takes 55 minutes from Fangzhicheng to Fenghe Forest Park in Xianyang City. Along this subway line, passengers can easily transfer to line 2 at Beidajie, to line 3 at Tonghuamen and to line 4 at Wulukou.
